Gifts That Really Help

A few weeks ago a couple in my Sunday school class gave funds for bicycles. Sometimes these bicycles go to families who need transportation, or pastors who can use them to reach villages outside walking distance. In this case, the bikes went to these two young men in Zambia.

Their father worked with our national missionary Leonard for a few years, helping lead and train the African Encounter Team. Unfortunately, only a couple of years ago, he passed away due to complications from a lung disease. 

Their mother cares for them alone now and as a widow, Encounter helps to support her each month. These boys look pretty happy to receive such a donation and to know that God still sees them and through His people, still provides.
