Lift Up Your Eyes Today
Isaiah 40:26, 49:18, 51:6, Psalms 105:4, 121:1-2, Proverbs 3:5-6
One must be careful not to focus on the problems, challenges, struggles, pains, and troubles of life. For if they do, it often leads downward and the pilgram’s journey becomes weary in the daily events of life. It is true that all of one’s problems do not vanish when they “lift up their eyes unto the Lord” but they have a Biblical perspective and the way becomes more clear in their daily walk. Unfortunately, many believers exist each day fixing their “eyes” on the troubles and pains rather than on the Lord and the many victories and blessings they enjoy. It is true that others need to see those who have been changed by the person of Christ and daily trust in and on Him as they “lift their eyes to the Lord.” When one’s eyes are focused on Him, and His plans and goals for their life, they become a great demonstration of God’s work in their life.
Prayer: Lord, I do lift my eyes, heart, mind, and life to You this day, and trust my life is a demonstration of Your work and power.
