Living on Top
Isaiah 26:3, Psalms 40:17, Daniel 3:17, Matthew 5:13-16, John 10:10, 14:27, I Peter 2:21
As we are faced with many challenges and problems in life, it is vitally important that God is trusted and that His presence and power are demonstrated to the world. Many times others are influenced and impacted by how a believer responds to difficult and hurting situations. When everything seems to go okay, the responses and words are pleasing, but often when life is difficult people become sour. It is vitally important that the believer remembers that God makes no mistakes and He has control over all things. There are times when one cannot explain the events but confidence and trust in the Lord is what attracts others. There are some things believers must remember:
In every adversity, there is a lesson to learn
God’s plan is always to make us better
It is critical to keep one’s focus on and in the Lord
One must be careful about so-called friends who are quick to give advice
Life is not simple
It is not that the believer is laughing all the time but in God, they are living on top and learning from each situation.
Prayer: Lord, by Your power, presence, and provisions it is my desire to be an on-top example to others that they will be drawn to You.
