Burdens to the Lord
Psalms 55:22, 68:19-20, Philippians 4:6-7, I Corinthians 10:13, Proverbs 3:5-6
Everyone has problems they cannot solve and encounters they did not see coming, resulting in burdens. Each day, one considers these burdens, life becomes more difficult, and the burdens get heavier. The child of God is reminded many times in the Bible that they should “bring their burdens to the Lord.” Charles A. Tindley wrote many years ago, “if the world from you withhold of its silver and its gold, and you have to get along with meager fare, just remember, in His Word, how He feeds the little bird, take your burden to the Lord and leave it there.” In His supernatural and divine power, God moves in “mysterious ways, His wonders to perform”. Invest time now taking your burdens to the Lord. Lay them out before Him and ask for grace, wisdom, power, and discernment.
Prayer: Lord, I bring these burdens to Your throne and praise You for the strength You give me to continue on today.
