Peace in the Heart

Philippians 4:4-7, II Corinthians 13:11, Psalms 4:8, II Thessalonians 3:16, Galatians 5:22-23

All kinds of things will be tried today to bring peace to one’s life, family, community, state, nation, and even the world. However, without Jesus, there is no peace for it is in His presence, power, and moving in one’s heart and life that gives real peace.  The Apostle Paul stated in Philippians 4:4-7 that the follower of Christ should:

  • Rejoice in the Lord

  • Be gentle, kind to everyone

  • Not worry and be anxious

  • Thank the Lord

  • Pray and bring their burdens and requests to Him…

… and the “peace of God” will guard the heart, mind, and life. The Lord Jesus Christ is and gives peace that everyone longs for today.  It is through His presence and work that real peace is in a person’s life.

Prayer: Thank You Lord for the peace You are and give to my heart as I trust and obey Your Word.
