SUMMER CAMP IS OFF TO A ROARING START...Our staff training was June 8-15. It was an incredible time of planning, preparing, and bonding for all 15 summer staff, 22 Encounter team members, and 12 full time staff members. At the end of the staff training week, we had an Open House for our community. This allowed people to see all of the improvements that have been made in the Tabernacle, Conference Room, Snack Shop, Game Room, Fireplace Room, and the Shower House!

WEEK 1 (for ages 8-12) – Kicked off with a BANG! 92 campers enjoyed the Olympic theme at the Global Games Village. Some new activities for the campers included the sling shot range, archery range, team building activities, and new initiatives of the low ropes course! Our chapel emphasis this summer is “In the beginning God...” What a joy it has been to help young people systematically work through the Bible and apply it to their lives.

WEEK 2 (for ages 8-12) - During our 2nd week of junior camp, 127 boys and girls joined us for the adventure of camp. This is the highest total of junior campers we have had; and the energy and excitement level was buzzing!
