    Please join the Encounter family in prayer for Jacob Dykstra. Jacob is the 6 year old son of Josh and Candi Dykstra (Nightingale). Candi was an Encounter team member in 1998-1999. Jacob was in a serious accident over the weekend and experienced a severe head trauma. He is currently in intensive care at Spectrum Hospital in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The doctors feel that the next 48 hours are crucial as they try to control swelling and infection. The family requests no visitors, but they do ask that you pray fervently for his life.

    Thank you to all who have been praying for Jacob Dykstra, 6 year old son of ERM alumna Candi Dykstra (Nightingale). The news is quite encouraging as he is progressing well.
