    Randy McNear has been a member of the Encounter Board of Directors for several years. His daughter Meghan and son Donald are Encounter alumni. Today we received a report from his wife Dona. Shortly after Christmas, they thought Randy had pneumonia, since he was coughing, out of breath, and lacking energy. In summary the doctor ordered a stress test with nuclear isotope, which Randy failed. He saw the cardiologist today and learned that he probably has one fully blocked artery and another that is partially blocked. This Friday he will be undergoing a heart catheterization. Please pray that the blockages can be resolved with either angioplasty or stents. The next step would be a by-pass done on Friday also.
