Discipleship

Each year a selected group of young adults invest their lives to be trained in the truths of God’s Word. The year with Encounter is designed to prepare these young men and women for a life of effectiveness while they are involved in communicating God’s love and spiritual truths through music and drama. Coming from a variety of locations, these young people soon become a “family” committed to obedience and proclaiming God’s Word. Leaning the disciplines of life that are required for effectiveness, these young people trust God to supply all their financial and personal needs so they can give themselves to ministry for an extended period of time. The experiences are mightily used by God to establish a firm foundation in His Word and to give direction for usefulness in the future. Many former team members are involved in ministry and a God-honoring pursuit of a life of impact and obedience.
