 | In April of 2009, the Encounter team will embark on an exciting mission opportunity in Luanshya, Zambia. For several years ERM has partnered with Leonard Bwalya and the African Encounter team to reach the people of Zambia with the message of revival and spiritual awakening. We anticipate doing many of the things that we have done on past mission trips: minister in churches and schools, distribute literature, and hold special evangelistic meetings. In addition to this, we are thrilled about helping the African ERM team with a new project they call the Mission of Mercy. The team has a goal of establishing a farm and a food distribution center. With chickens, pigs, cows, feed, fence, pots and pans, the AERM team will be able to provide jobs and food to meet physical needs while they also tend to the spiritual needs of the people through sharing the gospel of Christ.
