Peace of Mind is Possible

Matthew 6:25-33, II Corinthians 4:8-18

Peace of mind is possible if we keep our heart and mind focused on God.  However in the pressures, trials, and complications of life, our focus is often on these things instead of God and His Word.  When our focus and attention are controlled by the challenges of each day, the results are frustration, fear, and discontentment.

If we are to have peace of mind, we must keep our focus on God by . . .

  1. Reading the Bible
  2. Remembering all He has done in the past
  3. Thinking on His great power
  4. Anchoring our mind and life in His promises

To anchor one’s mind and life in the presence and promises of God gives relief and peace of mind beyond human comprehension.  The situations may not change, but our focus is on God, and He then changes us.
