Proverbs 3:5-6, Philippians 1:21, Ephesians 3:14-21
The Bible has many promises. One is that as we obey and follow the Word, God gives direction for our life. We must remember that obedience is the great key that opens the door to God’s leading and direction in everyday living.
Obedience to the Bible is demonstrated in our actions, words, conduct, and behavior. Then we can look for and expect God’s leading. However, it seems that often believers do whatever they wish, live and talk like an unbeliever, and then expect God to direct their path. Yet this verse and many others remind us that if we want God’s direction, we must obey His Word.
Obedience is doing completely what we are told to do, when we are told to do it. So it would be wise to examine your ways to be sure you are living in obedience to the Word so that you can have God’s direction in the daily choices and decisions of life.
“In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths.” Proverbs 3:6
