Psalm 107:1-22, I Thessalonians 5:18, James 1:27
If one is not careful, they will find themselves knee deep in the struggles and challenges of another day.
So as we begin another week, it is a great discipline to:
- Consider all that God has done and His multiple blessings.
- Reflect for a few moments on the “goodness of God.”
- Consider others. In James 1:27 we are reminded that “pure religion and undefiled is this; to visit the fatherless and the widows . . .”
What a great joy comes when one shares their blessings with those who are in need. The need may be around the corner or across the world but being an instrument in God’s hand to help others brings great joy to the soul. Take a few moments to consider all your blessings and then how you can be a blessing to someone else.
