Just as these ladies are throwing the grain into the wind so that unwanted particles will be separated, the events of life seem like one is a grain in the wind. However, God is in control, and He knows each thing that is happening. So in times when the path of life seems unclear and troubles seem like mountains, we are to trust God and keep going.
It is in these times we are tempted to give up as winning seems impossible. Stress and anxiety flood the mind and body which has a great impact on our attitude, behavior, response, conduct, and physical being. In these times of challenge and difficulty, the obedient believer must trust God.
The enemy uses these things to draw one from the Lord and seeks to deceive and distract us from following and obeying the Lord. So what should we do?
- Think Right (Philippians 4:8)
- Trust God (Proverbs 3:5-6)
- Keep going (Philippians 3:13-14)
- Be thankful (I Thessalonians 5:18)
- Do right (James 1:22)
“Trust and obey, there is no other way to be happy in Jesus, but to trust and obey.”
