Trust God

It is impossible to image what is on the hearts and minds of these children in Zambia as they look up with great anticipation and expectation.  I suppose this is how we look often to our loving Lord as we come to Him daily with our needs, problems, desires, and expectations.  It is such a blessing to know that God knows and cares about all that is on our heart and mind.  The dear lady was right when she said, “His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me.”

Great peace comes to the soul that trusts God to lead, guide, and protect.  We are encouraged and instructed to bring our requests, needs, problems, struggles, and more to God and wait in His presence.  It is good to have a friend that we can share our burdens with, but it is waiting in the presence of the living God with these things that refreshes the soul.

Psalm 55:22 instructs “cast thy burden upon the Lord and He shall sustain thee; He shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.”  So before we hurry off into our world of challenge, let us always wait in the presence of our God for His guidance and refreshing of the soul.
