In the busyness of life and the rush of things that need to be done, we must never forget that there are multitudes that have never heard the name of Jesus or seen a page of the Bible.
It is our great joy as a believer to share the truth of salvation and the ways of God with others. Yet we are often so consumed with “our projects” that we forget or ignore the great need of others. Whether it is in a place around the world that has never heard the Word or in a crowded city of cars, buses, and commotion, there are multitudes who do not know the Lord.
We must be careful to keep our heart, mind, and life tuned to the instructions of Scripture. It is the believer’s joy and responsibility to be a light in a dark world and to share the Living Word (Matthew 5:13-19).
“We must lift up our eyes. We need to retrain our minds to interpret everything we do, everything we see, everything we spend in light of eternity-in light of souls that are dying without Jesus.” K.P. Yohannan
