AFRICAN ENCOUNTER BIBLE INSTITUTE NOW HOLDING CLASSES
After 4 years of ministry to the African Youth and receiving a great response from them, we are excited that the Institute is now in operation. In this phase of the Institute, they are meeting in a rented house that has been prepared for classes and also to be the office of the Leadership staff. The Institute meets on Tuesday and Thursday for classes and there are other training and outreach ministries being held at the Institute during the week. We are so thankful that a great number of young people are requesting entrance to the Institute, even from other countries.
TEAM IN MINISTRY
The Encounter team ministers regularly in churches, public schools, market places and other youth related activities. God has given them a great open door to share the Gospel and truths of God’s Word.
Each of these team members is committed to making a difference by living, sharing and going with the message of God’s love.
FOOD FOR THE HUNGRY
Not only does the team reach out to meet spiritual needs, but also physical needs. God has provided the funds and direction to purchase 20 acres where vegetables are being grown, chickens are being raised, eggs produced, goats and cattle are being cared for in order to minister to the needy and hungry.
Also, a large portion of this property is being prepared to be the home and campus of the African Encounter Bible Institute. Within the next year, we are trusting God to provide the funds to construct the buildings and facilities to accommodate 100 young people. At the Institute, they will be taught the Word of God, given practical, Biblical foundations for life, challenged with the needs of the world, as well as being taught a vocational trade to assist them in life.
As we endeavor to reach the children, the Adopt a School program, has been created. Multitudes of children do not have adequate books, supplies and materials for school. Because we believe it is important to reach the children, the African Encounter team is working with many public schools to assist them in their task, and this is opening up great doors of ministry.
