Living to Make A Biblical Difference Today

Often, when talking about “winning the world,” we develop complicated schemes and plans to make it happen. In spite of all the technology, methods, plans, buildings, money and success strategies, we are not winning the world. Like a runner going the wrong direction in the fog, we have worked on nearly everything but what the Scripture instructs us to do. Over and over again, we are reminded in Scriptures that believers are to be light, salt, examples, and ambassadors as we live out the truths of God’s transforming power in every day life. We should save our money and work on the way we are living each day.

One of the most obvious things that people see daily is our ATTITUDE. Attitude is our heart and mind on display for the world to see and know. Attitude is the “little thing that makes the big difference.” Attitude is a choice. We can be happy, thankful, appreciative, positive, and attractive in nature, or we can be grouchy, irritable, unthankful, selfish and negative. So which do you think will make an attractive difference to YOUR world today? Let’s check our attitude NOW

• Admit the sin if we discover a bad attitude

• Set our heart/mind on blessings and ways of God

• Thank God for all we are and have

• Determine to make a positive, Biblical influence today

Remember, yesterday is gone forever and tomorrow may never come, so TODAY is all that we have. Let’s make a difference. I

  • Hey Ardy, what a great daily reminder to be positive. It's like fish swimming down stream. It's so easy to go with the flow and also be negative and down in todays world but, we are salt and we should be positive because we in Christ Jesus have the only hope there is. Being negative comes so natually but, being positive truly only comes when we are in Christ daily. It's like dusting, we need to get cleaned off everyday or we eventually become dirt... Thanks for being positive.

  • So true, Ardy...aren't we called to walk as "strangers in a foreign land" ~ after all, this world is NOT our home! God is ever faithful to grow and mature us...and the Word is always relevant for today! Amen
